Ten Authors I Own The Most Books From- Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and theBookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten list and everyone is welcome to join. So click here for more information.

I’m going to try and join this meme every week… wish me luck :p

This week is: Ten authors I Own the Most Books From.
So I’m going to share with you the authors that I have a lot of different books/series from, along with a few that I just have multiple copies from.

1. Cassandra Clare: 28 books

Aka. Best. Author. Ever.
.... Or at least, in my opinion she is. The Mortal Instruments is my favourite series and it's what got me into the whole Instagram fandom and book blogging community. My shadowhunter books don't even fit on one shelf anymore. I was lucky enough to meet her and some of the cast at the City of Bones European premiere so I have quite a few signed books.
In total I own 18 shadowhunter novels, two of which are in different languages and three of them are signed. Plus 10 of the companion books.

2. John Green: 10

I've only read 2 and a half of his books but I own all (except for one) and I can't wait to read the rest. I also have one book signed by him.

Just want to point out that most of the books I read are series and those authors don't tend to write 1000 other books, it's quite rare that I have lots of books by the same author. So yea....

3. Rainbow Rowell: 3

Not a lot, I know. But really, I blame Rainbow for this: she needs to write faster. I'm pretty sure she only has 4 books out.

4. Lauren Oliver 4

I can't figure out if I like her or not! Panic was really good, but I just couldn't finish Before I Fall. And I want to read the Delirium series, but I also don't want to because (don't hate me for saying this but:) it sounds a lot like Matched by Ally Condie. (Comment if what you think of her please!)

Next two author I just have a lot of double copies of.... or triple copies.

5. Veronica Roth: 13

There may or may not be five copies of Allegiant on my shelf....

6. Suzanne Collins 11

My Hunger Games and Divergent books fill up an entire shelf. #whatdoyoumeanineedbookrehab

As I mention above, I usually don't have multiple books by one author, it's mainly series. So here are some authors who wrote my favourite/completed series.
Richelle Mead, Megan Duke, Brigid Kemmer and Jennifer L Armentrout

I didn't really get to ten, but still. Next week's Top Ten will be ''books I'd give to readers who have never read'', so stay tuned for that.
Let me know who you own the most books from! Do you have a lot of books from a few authors, or few books from many difference authors? Let me know!

Also, you can now follow me on Bloglovin! There's a button you can click for that somewhere to the left.

  1. Why do you have 5 copies of Allegiant? Different countries? Versions?

    1. Haha yea, I have good reasons for buying each copy..... most people don't agree that they're ''good'' reasons though xD

  3. This was such a fun prompt this week! I love Rainbow Rowell (I'm reading Landline right now!) but she didn't make my list this week--I've borrowed all her books from the library. Once they're out in paperback I'll be buying them!

  4. Haha! I had the same reaction as above to ALLEGIANT! I shouldn't talk, I only just realized I have duplicate King collections and I didn't even COUNT the paperback copies.
